Monet, Manet and Magritte; Rubens, Reynold, Renoir, Rossetti and Rodin; Gainsborough, Gauguin, Van Gogh and Van Dyck; Degas, Botticelli and Turner - the galleries at the Grade 1 listed Barber Institute of Fine Arts house an outstanding art collection, with masterpieces by all these major names in the history of art – and many more.
There's also a dazzling coin gallery, housing Europe's most significant collection of Roman, Byzantine and medieval coins, alongside decorative art and sculpture, and changing exhibitions and displays - all in Birmingham's finest Art Deco building.
