Walking As One by Adam Magyar and Rhubarb-Rhubarb

Subscribe to RSS RSSMonday, 5th July, 2010

On Saturday 24th July at 6pm (sign in 5pm foyer of The Rep) take a "walk for the camera" and be part of photo history, celebrating a journey of people moving together, Forwards - as in the City of Birmingham motto. Then come back and find yourself  (from 1 August 5:30pm) in the large scale image installation on the side of the Library Of Birmingham's new hoarding...

Be a part of the incredible image made by Hungarian artist Adam Magyar, using the same technologies as that on the Olympic finish line, which captures thousands of slices of data a second! Hop, skip, jump, wheel or amble across Centenary Square in your favourite outfit, as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend and then bring your friends, family and colleagues to see yourself walking along on the hoarding around what will be one of Europe's most significant cultural buildings.
