Stage 27 invites you to join them as they perform ?Bums On Seats? at The Old Rep Theatre on 1st, 2nd & 3rd July 2010. Fresh from their production of 'A Christmas Twist' in December 2009, Stage 27 are proud to present a raucous look at the intriguing world of the Theatre and what really goes on behind the curtains...
Tickets cost £9 for the Thursday 1st performance, and £12 for Friday/Saturday 3rd performances (£11 Concessions/Groups of 10+). Tickets can be purchased online from The Old Rep Theatre or Birmingham Box Office. Tickets can also be purchased via telephone on 0121 303 2323 (lines open 10am-5pm Mon - Fri & 10am - 4.30pm Sat), or in person from The Birmingham Box Office, situated at Birmingham Central Library, Chamberlain Square, Birmingham. Performances begin at 7.30pm, whilst the House opens at 7pm.
One of the first Groups to perform at The Old Rep when its doors opened, the Group has been in existence for over 50 years and currently has approximately 15 members, from all ages and professions. Performing two productions a year, Stage 27 regularly enters Amateur Dramatics Festivals, and their most recent accolade was successfully passing through to the Semi-Final of the All England Theatre Festival in April 2010. The Group has also been involved in television work and acting with fellow organisations.
Stage 27 have performed thrillers, mysteries, comedies & original screenplays and 'Bums On Seats' is the latest. The Group is always on the lookout for new members that would like to help in all areas - from those wishing to grace the stage to directing/ publicity, backstage/set design, costume and front of house assistance. Amateur Dramatics isn?t just about acting!
