We believe that the bid for Birmingham to be named City of Culture 2013 should reflect the diverse voices of the people that live here. Since the autumn, when the bidding process began, you gave us ideas on our Big Blank Canvas website.
A selection of these ideas were turned into a 'fantasy festival' - Birmingham's Big Ideas. Now, in the run up to the final submission of Birmingham's bid on 21st May 2010, we are using this forum to discuss and improve some of your most striking ideas, so we can work towards making them happen, whether we should be named City of Culture or not.
